Biography

I am a born and bred Kentuckian. I love horses and (UK) basketball, as any good Kentuckian does! WELCOME to Coach Pope! I love travelling, and lived for a while in London. It is an amazing city and I would probably still be there if they hadn't kicked me out when my visa expired! Because I love travelling, my goal is to make it to all 50 states, and so far I have gotten to 40. It's been on the back burner for the last few years, but I plan to work on the last ten this year!

The first time I had the opportunity to act was in high school, in the play One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. One semester, they allowed our English teacher to teach a drama class. I was hooked, and was a Theatre and English double major at the University of Kentucky.

Real life intervened, however; after graduation, I pursued a Master's Degree in Education and spent many years teaching. Until one day, a friend of a friend said they needed some extra townspeople for Oliver!. I said yes, and the bug bit again, and this time, it didn't let go. Haven't looked back, and have been acting ever since!

I have had the pleasure of working with Terry Schreiber, Sheila Gray, Paul Michael, John Pallotta, and most recently, James Ciccone. I have worked on stage, television, film, commercials, voiceover, and print, and look forward to doing more comedy work.

Some of my favorite roles include Annelle in Steel Magnolias, and Grace in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, TV reporter Julie in the film Charm City, as well as a woman who thinks her neighbor is a vampire in the film, What Happens Next Will Scare You."

Most of my work has been on stage, but I am now focusing more on developing my skills and resume for on camera work for film and television.
